Jenny T Williamson – Speaker and Courage Worldwide Founder
The founder and CEO of Courage Worldwide, Jenny T Williamson, is an international motivational and inspirational speaker who has presented on human trafficking. Through Courage Worldwide, Jenny T Williamson has established different Courage Houses, residential programs that offer safety to girls surviving human trafficking.
Since 2005, Ms. Williamson, as CEO of Courage Worldwide, has given talks to Congress members, state lawmakers, foreign government leaders, educators, and professionals in social services, criminal justice, and healthcare. Her work also involves being a guest on national and local US radio and television broadcasts, including FOX News. She has also created an extensive curriculum training guide to help professionals who work, or want to work, with victims of sex trafficking and has trained over 15,000 professionals in trauma and human trafficking care.
Ms. Williamson has also written articles on human trafficking, which have appeared in news and magazine publications in the US, Canada, and Africa. In addition to these articles, she has authored the books Transitions and Do You Have the Courage to Be You? with an accompanying workbook, Uniquely You. Finally, she was featured in the documentary Plain Sight, related to her work with child sex trafficking.
Ms. Williamson has been involved with Shared Hope International’s Practitioners Working Group for Human Trafficking and the California Attorney General’s Working Group for Human Trafficking. Throughout her career, she received numerous awards, including the latest, the Tanzania Community Recognition for Serving Children of Moshi in 2022.
